Ack! I travelled through there as a cop was tailing my car for some reason. Place reminded me of a dying ghost town. I was scared.

Actually, it IS a dying ghost town and frankly, we like it that way. The reason the cop was most likely following you was because you failed to notice that the speed goes from 70 to 35 then 25 rather quickly. This is the training site for all the county police as well. Sometimes they have 'em lined up 6 at a time. Actually, we love it when impatient California (or other places) drivers ride our butts then pass us with a flipped finger. They seem to feel that their time is more important than following our rules. It's our laugh when we see them stopped up ahead.

Umm....well actually I had been observing all speed limits (as I knew that most of the towns I was going through were speed trap towns). IN other words, if the speed limit is 55, I drove 52. Believe me, I think I would of actually gotten stopped had I been going too fast for whatever town I was travelling through.

Still, thanks for the assumption. It amuses me greatly.

I found a few places that would of taking you but all I got back was Jobs are already take for this yea and to get back in touch with them Next Year for openings..

I had no idea who you where or what you where until I googled cat man
which was the only thing I could think of. Excuse the stares as we ate
right next to you and your friends. Later your waitress gave us the scoop.
I thought you were in costume for a show!! Now I understand. Good luck in
Vegas, there is work here. You may want to check in with the people who do
the conventions. They usually use "Booth Babes' to draw people to their
booths at shows and unfortunately, it's all more of the same. But you! Man
you would be a smash and I think you could ask for some large dollars once
you are established and have a track record. We were at the gaming show and
if we ever do a game based on the big cats, I'm giving you a ring.

I went through Tonopah when checking out Area51. Seemed like a nice enough place. Got me a very high quality sleeping bag from the hardware store that saved me from freezing when sleeping in my car. Small enough place where you could know everyone. I am in my home of UK now and have strong memories of the place... Hope you like it there.
